Garage Started

Today they started framing the foundation for our garage. We have our first inspection tomorrow morning. If everything goes as planned, they should be pouring the slab very soon! They also continued to work on the master suite. Here are some pictures of the progress.

Master Suite and New Garage

We had to make some important decisions recently about whether we should love our house or list it. To help with the decision process we brought in a realtor to help give us a realistic picture of what our house is worth and what it could be worth with the renovation we were thinking about. After baby #3, things in our house have been pretty tight, so we knew we needed to do something. We love our house, lot, and school zones, so leaving and finding everything we currently have would have been almost impossible. So, we made the decision to move forward with our renovation.

After meeting with several contractors and getting multiple quotes, we decided to go with Weatherby Renovations. Stephen Weatherby and his team have been awesome to work with. If you are in need of a contractor, you can check out some of their previous projects on Houzz.

We started our addition last Wednesday. Here are some pictures of the plans for the new master that will be added to the back of the house. In the next few days I'll post some pictures of the progress so far. They are moving quickly!
